Following his 2005 graduation, Phil faced a challenging period marked by setbacks, including sports injuries and illnesses, which temporarily sidetracked his aspirations. During this time, he attended college but struggled to find his footing.
However, a fortuitous opportunity arrived in 2009 when Phil landed his first film role in Village Music, a transformative experience that ignited his passion for acting.
