Orlando Valentino, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, has dedicated himself to establishing a presence in the film and television industry as an actor, producer, and screenwriter. His strong work ethic earned him the role of Carlos "Los" in the Netflix/BET feature film "Carter High," where he starred alongside Pooch Hall, Charles S. Dutton, David Banner, and Vivica A. Fox. He later guest-starred in "The Long Road Home," which aired on National Geographic and Hulu. Currently, he appears as "Wayburn" in the Starz Network feature film "Tazmanian Devil." Valentino has also performed lead roles in numerous stage productions such as Detroit 67', Her Lies His Secrets, A Raisin in The Sun, and more. Through his production company, Valentino Visions, he continues to act, write, and produce authentic, uplifting content featuring minority talent.
Growing up in Fort Worth, Orlando began his journey in the fine arts through church involvement as a young teen, where he took on lead roles and assisted with production behind the scenes. His local performances earned him the "Best Drama Solo" award at the Fine Arts Festival North Texas District. His experience in radio and commercials includes work with Cinemark Theatres, Radio Disney, and 91.5 KGRM.
While attending Grambling State University (GSU) in Louisiana, Orlando served as Youth Drama Director at Bishop T.D. Jakes' The Potters House Ministries in Dallas, Texas. There, he entertained thousands through various skits and contributed to the media and production teams for numerous conferences and events, including the 2013 MegaFest. At GSU, he was a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and performed with the World Famed Tiger Marching Band, entertaining audiences nationwide while managing his acting career through campus theatrical performances. Notable roles during his time at GSU included Emmitt Till in "The Story of Emmitt Till," Jason in Euripides' "Medea," and the lead detective in "Bull in a China Shop.
