She is the owner and founder of Fanta-Zee, LLC, a production company. With a solid foundation in improvisation, acting (both comedy and drama), writing, directing, and producing, she has built a versatile career.
Her film and television journey began at age 14, with earlier stage experience. She made her professional stage debut at 12 in "The Wizard of Oz" at Kansas City's Starlight Theatre. Since then, she has enjoyed significant success, originating roles such as Teen Fiona in the Theatre for Young Audiences adaptation of "Shrek the Musical" and Ann - 18 in the New York premiere of "And Other Fairy Tales."
In 2014, Fantauzzi earned critical praise for her lead role in the coming-of-age drama Adira, with Jake's Movie Review calling it "one of the best performances I have seen." The film was recognized by Project Greenlight as one of the top 200 indie films in the U.S. that year. She also appeared in Quality of Life (2014) alongside Kim Rhodes and played a supporting lead role as Sarah Ellington in the dystopian drama Black Zone (2025), which had a limited theatrical run at AMC Theatres in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Kansas City, where audience polls named her one of two fan favorites.
An award-winning actor and director, Fantauzzi is also a writer and producer. Her directorial debut, Letters from a Father (2017), premiered at the Kansas International Film Festival and received positive acclaim. Since then, she has won multiple awards and nominations across various categories. She began producing at 19 by creating the Custom Reel Division, now part of her production company, with her most notable client being Hala Finley (known for Man with a Plan and We Can Be Heroes). While studying at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, she contributed to Season 4 of NBC’s The Blacklist and FXX’s The Americans. Her other production credits include NBC's The Voice and MTV’s Broke A$$ Game Show. Her latest film, Event Virus (2024), has earned accolades such as the H.G. Wells Award for Best Short Film at the Los Angeles Sci-Fi Film Festival and Best Director, Best Producer, and Best Sci-Fi at the Rome International Movie Awards.
Fantauzzi joined The Second City in early 2018, debuting as a stage writer with the sketch show "Me, Myself & Die." She is currently producing two feature films in development, a television series, and is best known as a producer for the feature film Black Zone (2025).
She works in numerous roles including actor, producer, director, writer, editor, 1st and 2nd assistant director, line producer, unit production manager (UPM), and script supervisor. Her greatest strength lies in her meticulous attention to detail both in front of and behind the camera.
