Biyografi
Juliette Gosselin was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and has one brother.
She began her career appearing in commercials for Merck Frost and Home Depot. Her first significant role was as France Carignan in the high-budget film Battle of the Brave (also known as Nouvelle-France), starring alongside Gérard Depardieu, David Lahaye, and Noémie Godin-Vigneau. This performance earned her a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Juliette then voiced Yeesha in the video game Myst IV Revelation, developed by Ubisoft. The game featured real-time 3D effects, and Juliette’s work was performed entirely in front of a green screen.
Next, she starred as Gabrielle in Louise Archambault’s critically acclaimed film Familia, which was named one of the top 10 Canadian films of 2005 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
She portrayed 12-year-old Monique Gagné in Histoire de famille, a story about a Quebec family’s challenges during the 1960s and 1970s.
Juliette played Sophie in Délivrez-moi, a dark redemption story directed by Denis Chouinard and produced by Réal Chabot. For this role, she won Best Actress at the 26th Atlantic Film Festival, acting alongside Céline Bonnier and Geneviève Bujold.
At sixteen, she secured a supporting role as Marie, the sister of Xavier Dolan’s character, in the Quebec-France co-production Martyrs, directed by Pascal Laugier.
In 2011, Juliette appeared in Marc Bisaillon’s second feature film, La Vérité.
Soon after, she joined the cast of the popular TV series Les Jeunes Loups, playing Léa Couture, a reckless teenager who jeopardizes Virginie Mercier’s life by posting an embarrassing video of her online.
Juliette also appeared in Tu dors Nicole, Stéphane Lafleur’s latest film.
Last year, she became part of the cast of 19-2 and landed a major role in André Forcier’s recent film, Kiss Me Like a Lover (Embrasse-moi comme tu m’aimes).
