Deysha Nelson is a versatile talent in the entertainment world, excelling as an actress, model, singer, dancer, and spokesperson since the age of 4. She is best known for her role as Mya in Netflix’s hit holiday film "Holiday Rush" and as Hanna in CBS’s popular series "God Friended Me."
Between 2022 and 2023, Deysha demonstrated her acting skills on stage at the Florida Studio Theatre in the Tony Award-nominated dramedy "What The Constitution Means To Me," earning praise for her role as a Debater. In 2018, she captivated audiences and critics with her portrayal of Hedvig in the acclaimed play "The Wild Duck" at Quintessence Theatre.
Deysha provided the voice for Kangaruthie, or Officer Ruth, in Nickelodeon/Noggin's animated series and app "Tot Cop," which aired in both the US and UK. Her voice work also includes the first episode of "Little Big Shots," Gina Giant on Nick Jr’s "Wallykazam," and appearances on "Curious World Melia & Jo" and Sprout TV’s "Superwings."
At 9 years old, Deysha gave a standout performance as Devine in the emotionally charged play "Brownsville Song (B-Side for Tray)" at Florida Studio Theatre, earning accolades during her three-month engagement.
Deysha’s modeling career began in 2012 at age 5. She has walked in over 50 fashion shows, including New York Fashion Week, Small Boutique Fashion Week, and Atlantic City Fashion Week. At 6, she launched her own clothing brand, Almond Eyez Designs, debuting it at NYFW’s Fashion Block Runway Show, making her the youngest designer to participate. Her designs have been featured in 13 shows across five states and highlighted in six magazines alongside numerous news stories.
Beyond acting and modeling, Deysha has appeared in commercials, including one campaign featuring her and her family on billboards. Driven by a strong passion for acting, she approaches her career with commitment and excitement, always ready for her next opportunity to shine.
