Greg Strasz is a distinguished figure in filmmaking, known for his diverse roles as a Director, Visual Effects Supervisor, and Producer. His Hollywood career took off with notable projects, including his work as a Visual Effects Craftsman on Roland Emmerich’s blockbuster 2012 (2009), where he demonstrated exceptional skill in creating stunning visual effects. He further collaborated with Emmerich on major films such as White House Down (2013), Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), and Midway (2019), establishing himself as a leading VFX expert. His partnership with director Julius Avery on The Pope's Exorcist (2023), starring Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe, achieved significant success both at the box office and as Netflix’s top-ranking hit.
Expanding beyond visual effects, Strasz took on the role of producer for Beyond the Reach (2014), working alongside Michael Douglas and also serving as Visual Effects Supervisor. This project showcased his versatility, balancing production responsibilities while maintaining high visual standards.
