Actor, director, fight coordinator, and weapons expert Anthony De Longis has worked alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Harrison Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jet Li, Brendan Fraser, Ron Howard, Yuen Woo Ping, Tim Burton, David Carradine, Patrick Swayze, Angelica Huston, Plácido Domingo, and Charlton Heston. As an actor, De Longis portrayed Shakespeare's infamous villain Iago in Othello twice and co-starred in films such as Fearless, Road House, Masters of the Universe, Circle of Iron, Jaguar Lives, and The Sword and the Sorcerer. He originated the role of Kazon leader Maje Culluh on Star Trek: Voyager, appearing in five episodes. His television credits include NCIS: LA, Revolution, Grimm, MythBusters, Leverage, ER, The Outer Limits, The Queen of Swords, The Adventures of Sinbad, Conan the Adventurer, Babylon 5, and Highlander: The Series (twice). He voices Sheriff Leigh Marshal in Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption and General Serrano in Bulletstorm. De Longis made his directorial debut with Blood Trail, which won Best Western and Best Action Short at the Action On Film Festival. Renowned as a fight director and choreographer, he is celebrated for his expertise in a wide range of bladed weapon arts, crafting action sequences rooted in combative authenticity to create more dynamic storytelling. He introduced the distinctive style of Spanish rapier fighting to television in Highlander: The Series and developed a more efficient, visually striking whip technique for Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman and Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones in Crystal Skull. De Longis has showcased his practical skills with blades, whips, firearms, and horses on History Channel programs including More Extreme Marksmen, MythBusters, Lock & Load, Triggers, 101 Weapons That Changed the World, and Deadliest Warrior. A published writer and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, SAG-AFTRA, Actors’ Equity Association, Academy of Canadian Television and Radio Actors, Union of British Columbia Performers, Society of Canadian Fight Directors, and an honorary member of the Society of American Fight Directors, he has been inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame, USA Martial Arts Hall of Heroes, and International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame.
