Based in Kalamazoo , Michigan, Lars is represented by Angela Boehm Casting, Wink Talent Agency and CKR Casting. He holds a BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University. During his time at WMU, he trained under Kelli Simpkins of the Tectonic Theatre Workshop, using the moment-work developmental process behind The Laramie Project. With a stage career spanning over 100 productions across four decades, Lars has delivered standout performances in The Glass Menagerie, The White Rose, Sister Act, Chicago, Leading Ladies, Blithe Spirit, The Odd Couple, All My Sons, The Boys in the Band, and 33 Variations. He also worked directly with Stephen Wallem (Nurse Jackie, The Resident, Marry Me) in a stage production of Psycho Beach Party and later trained under him in an Acting for Camera Workshop. His film resume is equally extensive, including roles in Sugar Boys, Young Miriam; Love and Pot Roast, Muriel & Joyce 2: La Quay Hey, Scruggs, Detroit Dawg, Moving Pieces, The Dark Side of Beautiful, Meadowlark, The Bird Flies, Lingering Twilight, Sender, and Blindly in Love with several projects streaming on Tubi, Amazon Prime, Vimeo, and Fawesome. He also has appeared on episodes of Necroland, Street Legal South, The Rapture Chronicles, GunForce, Monday Doesn't Exist and Whisperer.
