Sharon created, an award winning documentary series for PBS entitled "Off the Beaten Path". Each show in the series is a 30 minute road-trip through California with an emphasis on history, agriculture, art, and environmental issues. Sharon began her career with local television's MediaOne, now AT&T Broadband's Original Programming, in Southern California. She researched, wrote, produced and directed "In and Out of the Garden". 30 minute, on location shows dealing with history, gardens and the environment. She also produced two, one-hour specials, water conservation with Huell Howser; and another on drought-resistant gardens. "In and Out of the Garden" ran for three years in four counties, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties in Southern California. Sharon also mentored Graduate students in the American Film Institute's Masters program, helping producers with their short films. After being brought up to Humboldt County in Northern California to produce a news show, Sharon presented with breast cancer five years ago. Due to being in the cannabis capitol of the world, Sharon was able to use cannabis oil, successfully putting the cancer into remission, while doing away with ten prescription medications. Today, Sharon writes internationally on cannabis as medicine. Her books Humboldt Stories and Cannaopolis have just been combined in a pilot script, Cannaopolis, actively being pitched as a television series. Sharon continues to develop television shows, with a focus on cannabis and healing.
