Jaqueline Fleming, an African American and Danish beauty, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, to a Danish-German mother and a father of African American, Blackfoot Indian, and Irish descent. She was raised and traveled between Europe, New York, St. Louis, Chicago, and New Orleans.
She began acting on stage at six years old while attending The Little Red School House in New York City. Her theatrical training instilled discipline, strength, and respect for the craft. She continued performing in theaters nationwide well into adulthood.
An award-winning film and theater actress, Jaqueline has received two Hapa Awards for Best Actress in independent films. She earned these for her roles as Nellie Reeves, wife of Bass Reeves, in "Hell On The Border," and as Laura Bishop, a grieving widow, in "Atone." Additionally, she won the prestigious Jeff Award for Best Actress in an ensemble for her dramatic role as the daughter of a slave master. Known for her versatility, Jaqueline is often described in the industry as a character actress or chameleon.
Throughout her career, she has appeared alongside A-list stars such as Morgan Freeman, Kate Beckinsale, Chris Pine, Terrence Howard, Kate Hudson, Halle Berry, and Anthony Mackie.
Beyond acting, Jaqueline is passionate about work behind the camera as a producer, director, and content creator. She actively develops, creates, and produces film and TV projects through her production company, At The Kitchen Table, which aims to tell dynamic, engaging, and entertaining stories featuring women of color in lead roles. She has multiple projects across various platforms as both an actress and producer. Jaqueline Fleming is also a keynote speaker, traveling globally to inspire aspiring actors and filmmakers at universities, events, and festivals by sharing insights on building a professional career on both sides of the camera.
