Eric Keith is the Co-Founder, Chief Content Officer, and Executive Producer at SPACEMOB. With nearly 25 years of experience, his background spans acting, producing, leading a non-profit, and serving as a digital media executive. Eric excels in project development, packaging, and raising capital for feature films, alongside developing, financing, producing, and distributing television series for broadcast and streaming platforms. Since 2004, he has also been Producer and CEO of Capstone Entertainment Group (CEG). As Chief Content Officer at SPACEMOB, Eric leads Business Development and oversees Business Affairs and Creative Development for Stan Lee Holdings’ properties, including the Omniverse Collection created by Stan Lee.
He has produced close to 100 original television episodes and acquired rights to numerous TV properties, including classics like Canada’s PBS hit The Red Green Show, Fox’s Showtime at the Apollo, Monster Jam, and Pickle Ball Television (PickleTV). A creative executive and storyteller, Eric consistently identifies and cultivates high-quality business relationships, matching partners with the right products, services, and opportunities.
Eric is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy, and is a Primetime Emmy voter. He has contributed to multiple award-winning series for major studios and networks such as ABC, NBC Universal, CNBC, HBO, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros Television, DreamWorks, and Miramax. He has executive produced ten feature films, including the psychological thriller Leave Yourself Alone (released domestically by Virgil Films), Jedi Junior High (distributed by MarVista Entertainment with a worldwide Netflix deal), and the award-winning Parallel Love directed by Matt Hinton (released theatrically by Abramorama and winner of multiple film festivals).
He served as Executive Producer of Forget Me Not, a supernatural thriller starring Carly Schroeder, Cody Linley, Jillian Murray, and Bella Thorne, distributed domestically by Entertainment One’s Phase 4 Films and internationally by Screen Media. Forget Me Not was the #1 horror film on iTunes for six weeks, #2 on Redbox, enjoyed heavy rotation on Showtime, and won Best Horror Film at the Hollywood Reel Film Festival. Among Eric’s proudest accomplishments is Executive Producing Girl Unscripted (PBS/Amazon), a docuseries about girls growing up in Middle America, filmed over 15 years and winner of 98 awards. He also Executive Produced the award-winning documentary feature We Have Just Begun (PBS), detailing the largest race massacre in U.S. history, and the docuseries FAME/LESS (PBS), chronicling a struggling musician touring with his wife, who is battling cancer.
Eric studied independent producing, film marketing, and distribution at UCLA. He earned executive certificates from Harvard Business School in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS) and in Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen. Additionally, he completed a Business Foundations specialization at the Wharton School and holds a BA from Lincoln Christian University. Eric began his career at the Tony Award-winning Actors Theatre of Louisville as a member of their Apprentice/Intern Company.
