Benjamin Beladi is a multi-award-winning Canadian composer, audio director, sound designer, music supervisor, and producer, whose career spans major television networks, films, and video games worldwide. Raised in a musical household and classically trained as a concert pianist, he began his career as an orchestrator in the film industry before transitioning into composition.
Known for his powerful, melodic writing and versatility across genres, Benjamin's work ranges from intimate indie dramas to sweeping action/adventure and fantasy scores. His credits include high-profile franchises such as Tomb Raider, Ice Age, Star Wars, Terminator, The Walking Dead, Disney, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
His music has been recorded by prestigious ensembles such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hollywood Studio Symphony, and performed in concert by the Montreal Metropolitan Orchestra, the Quebec Symphony Orchestra, and others around the world.
Since 2008, Benjamin has also been active as a post-production producer and supervisor, working with major clients such as Warner Bros., Fox Searchlight, Disney, Netflix, Apple TV+, and CBC. He has delivered more than a hundred multimedia projects in various roles, including post-production supervisor, music supervisor, sound designer, re-recording mixer, and VFX executive producer.
In parallel, Benjamin has produced and developed a wide range of multimedia projects for web, television, and film. In 2010, he joined BV Films with a vision to support original storytelling across genres and platforms. As a producer, he helped establish strategic partnerships and production deals, sourcing over $10 million in private equity and gap financing for various initiatives.
A frequent attendee at major film, television, game industry events, and festivals, Benjamin has also served as a featured speaker and panelist on topics such as music, filmmaking, post-production, and interactive audio at several international conferences and festivals.
