Greg Robbins is a versatile and accomplished figure in the world of entertainment. As a NY Emmy-nominated writer and producer, Greg's journey began in front of the camera in 1984, when he played a thug in the TV movie "The Grand Baby." Born in Glendale, California, and raised in North Hollywood, Greg's passion for acting was ignited at a young age. His grandfather's gift of an 8mm camera fueled his early interest in filmmaking, leading him to create home movies with his younger brothers. Two pivotal moments during his youth played significant roles in shaping Greg's career. Watching the films "On Any Sunday" and "Sometimes a Great Notion" sparked his desire to become an actor and stuntman. Despite starting life with a challenging prognosis due to a car accident at four weeks old, which left him in a body cast, Greg defied expectations and became an accomplished athlete. His grandmother's belief in his potential became a guiding force. Greg's storytelling abilities emerged in 1971 when he wrote his first movie, "John Henry," inspired by his uncle's tragic death in Vietnam. Although the film remains unproduced, it holds a special place in his heart. In his early 20s, Greg honed his craft by attending acting and stunt schools while juggling various acting and modeling gigs in Hollywood. In 1990, Greg embraced Christianity, a transformative decision that influenced his future projects. He met his wife the following year and began raising a family. The idea for a Christian sitcom came to him in 1996, leading to the creation of the world's first Christian sitcom, a pioneering moment in faith-based television. Beyond storytelling, Greg's dedication to martial arts is evident. He holds 2nd-degree black belts in ITF and World Tae Kwon-Do and has a strong foundation in military hand-to-hand combat. Training alongside his family, Greg values the Tae Kwon-Do creed as a guiding principle for life. In 2017, he formed the Robbins Stunt Team with his children, providing stunt performers in western New York. Today, Greg Robbins enjoys a rewarding life alongside his wife, children, and grandchildren.
