Panos (Panagiotis) Dimakis ( Astros , 1977 ) is a Greek philologist , writer and translator .
He comes from Vervena in Arcadia and grew up in Astros in Kynouria . He has lived in Athens since 1995
He studied English Literature at the University of Athens .
He has translated for "Kazantzakis Publications", from Greek to English, the works of Nikos Kazantzakis , "Captain Michael" and "The Ascent", the former in a revision of the original 1955 translation and the latter in a world premiere , as well as other short stories from English and Italian, into Greek.
