Hannah Werner is a graduate from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas with a Bachelor's Degree in Film. She is the youngest child in a family of four. She has directed two student short films so far: "Maliyah," a fictional true crime documentary about a missing girl reappearing after over a decade; and "Ditched," a comedy-thriller about a group of friends who have to overcome their paranoia and work together to survive a deadly road trip. She has also directed several student short documentaries, including "The Commercial Center: The Heart of Las Vegas," a short documentary on the Historic Commercial Center. Hannah's work has won several awards, including Best Directing, Best Screenplay, and 2nd Place Best Picture for "Maliyah" at the UNLV 2024 Spring Flicks Film Festival, as well as Best Student Film for "Maliyah" at the 11th Annual Nevada Women's Film Festival. Hannah hopes to pursue a career in film in production management. Her favorite genres to create for are thriller and drama.
