Steven Man's story is one of those extraordinary tales known by many but experienced by few. At just eight years old, he began creating 8mm movies, taking on the roles of producer, director, and star. However, unexpected financial challenges soon forced him to pause his filmmaking dreams and focus on work, juggling three jobs alongside school.
By his mid-20s, his determination began to bear fruit. He acquired his first company, Mansueto Display International Inc. (MDI), a visual display and float building business in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Steven transformed the struggling company into an internationally recognized, award-winning enterprise. Despite MDI's growth, he found time to return to his first passion—acting in films.
Making a life-changing decision to give up his companies and pursue acting full-time, Steven moved to Los Angeles. Within days of committing to his new path, he secured a principal role in an independent feature, followed shortly by a lead role in another. Versatile, intelligent, and highly skilled, he portrays a wide range of characters—from the reluctant hero to the charming yet cunning villain. His roles include the Bond-like CIA agent Robert Tenant, the suave manipulator Jack Stone, the empathetic parapsychologist Dr. Ian Tarkovsky, and the notorious Boston Strangler Albert DeSalvo. Steven is a consummate professional, a focused and amiable actor whom directors repeatedly seek out. Beyond his craft, he is a dedicated father, partner, and friend, embodying the belief that it is never too late to fulfill your potential. A throwback to the icons of Hollywood's Golden Era, he captivates both eyes and soul.
Through his production company, Manmade Entertainment Productions Inc., co-founded with partner Michelle Czernin von Chudenitz, Steven is developing and producing a diverse range of projects, including feature films, television, and specialty content. He is committed to discovering and mentoring emerging writers, directors, and actors. His current aspiration is to create a film that his beloved daughter, Chiara, will want to watch repeatedly because it brings her joy and laughter.
