Director and DP Blair Hayes is renowned for his visually striking style and outstanding performances. His commercial clients include Pepsi, Federal Express, McDonald's, Budweiser, Chevrolet, Mercedes, American Express, Gatorade, KFC, Sony, Nintendo, and Verizon. He has received numerous awards such as Clios, One Shows, Mobiuses, IBAs, and Addys, with his commercials featured during the Super Bowl, Grammys, and The Olympics.
Blair's work in commercials attracted Hollywood's attention, leading him to direct Jake Gyllenhaal in the 2001 cult comedy "Bubble Boy" for Touchstone/Disney. He then directed the pilot for the series "Fearless" for Jerry Bruckheimer TV and the WB, and designed, shot, and directed the opener for the Ben Affleck/Matt Damon-produced ABC series "Push, Nevada," also serving as Visual Director for the show. Since then, Blair has directed nine films and pilots, including the 2016 project "Great Plains," which he wrote and starred Tara Buck ("True Blood") and Beth Grant ("No Country for Old Men," "Rainman," "Donnie Darko"). He has also directed the Hallmark series "Mystery 101."
Blair is married to actress Boti Bliss, and they have a son together.
