Ryan Trefes is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, producer, and motion graphics designer for the Wall Street Journal, known for premium documentaries such as PBS's Tulsa: The Fire and The Forgotten. He is a graduate of Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, where he wrote and directed the short film Little Apollo, which premiered at the Louisville International Festival of Film.
