Eileen Grubba is an acclaimed actress, writer, and producer celebrated for her impactful roles in series such as Watchmen (2019), New Amsterdam (2018), Sons of Anarchy (2008), NBC's Game of Silence (2016), and HBO's Hung (2009). Her fearless approach to character portrayal has earned her widespread recognition. She is an active member of the Television Academy, contributing to the PGEC committee, and holds lifetime membership at the prestigious Actors Studio, where she is regarded as a commanding presence on stage.
Her television credits include HBO's Watchmen, CBS's CSI: Vegas, S.W.A.T., All Rise, Criminal Minds, NBC's New Amsterdam, This Is Us, Game of Silence, Netflix's The Politician, ABC's Stumptown, FX's Sons of Anarchy, Bones, Fear The Walking Dead, HBO's Hung and Enlightened, Benched, Instant Mom, CSI: Miami, The Mentalist, Cold Case, Nip/Tuck, The Closer, Monk, among others. She has received numerous Best Actress awards and secured a $100,000 production package in a pitch competition for her feature film, attracting producer Hunt Lowry, who is now attached to the project. Eileen was honored with the WeSpark Award at the 2020 Idyllwild Film Festival for her social impact within the entertainment industry, won the Mary Austin Excellence in Screenwriting Awards in 2019 and 2020, and the Mary Austin Excellence in Producing Award in 2021, along with over 50 international accolades for her disability-inclusive short films. She serves on the SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Board, the national Persons with Disabilities committee, and the new technology committee. In 2020, she was selected for the CBS Leadership Pipeline for directing.
As an international public speaker, Eileen was invited to join the FBI's Citizen Academy for community leaders after delivering a talk at the FBI's Los Angeles field office in 2019 and later served as the keynote speaker at their graduation. She was a staff writer for the animated children's series Lego Friends (2023–2024) and currently has a feature film in development with Roserock Films at the Warner Bros. lot.
On stage, Eileen has embraced demanding roles in numerous new plays by emerging playwrights at The Actors Studio. She has also starred as the lead in various musicals, including Cinderella, The Little Shop of Horrors, and Dracula.
