David started producing and directing commercials for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Catholic Charities, Diva Tequila, and other small companies. He then produced and directed two multi-award winning police documentaries, "Detroit Under S.T.R.E.S.S" narrated by C. Thomas Howell about the most controversial decoy unit ever put on the street in 1971, and "Scout 10-5", the story of the 1969 New Bethel Church shootout between the Detroit Police and the Republic of New Afrika. His third police documentary, "Malice", about one of the biggest police trials in the early 1990's, the Malice Green/Larry Nevers Case, is in post-production. David also worked exclusively with the creator of C.S.I., Anthony Zuiker, on a trailer for a military documentary. He is the executive producer of the veteran YouTube series "Patriot Plates" with two completed seasons. Ricky Schroder's Reel American Heroes Foundation, a new patriotic platform, just partnered with Patriot Plates and will be helping produce their third season. Currently (November 2024) David is also in pre-production on his first full feature family friendly film Wish Watch which will begin filming May 2025.
