Iñaki Aguilar is a Mexican film director, writer, and producer based in Madrid, Spain. He studied Film at the University of Westminster in London and has also published two novels under the pseudonym Cruz Del Castillo, including the critically noted Corpus Christi, Texas and the recently released American Homosexual. Aguilar began his career as a child actor, appearing in commercials and short films in Mexico before before expanding his career into directing and filmmaking. His debut feature, Lujuria (2025), screened at the acclaimed Sitges Film Festival and went on to win multiple Best Feature Film awards at festivals worldwide. He is currently developing his second feature film, slated for release in 2027.
