Adding & Editing Titles
At minimum, you need the title name and type (Feature Film, TV Series, etc.). However, we strongly recommend also including the year, at least one genre, a synopsis, and the country of origin. The more information you provide, the more likely your submission will be approved.
Yes. Set the Status field to "In Development", "Pre-Production", or "Filming" as appropriate. For titles without a confirmed release date, leave the year blank. We recommend including an official source link to verify the project's existence.
In the Basic Information section, select the appropriate Type. Choose "Feature Film" for movies, "TV Series" for ongoing or completed TV shows, "Mini-Series" for limited series, and "TV Movie" for one-off television films.
Type describes what the title is (Feature Film, TV Series, Short Film, etc.) and doesn't change. Status describes where the title is in its lifecycle (In Development, Filming, Released, etc.) and may change over time.
Review times vary depending on the volume of submissions. Most submissions are reviewed within a few days. You can check the status of your submission at any time on the My Submissions page.
If your submission is rejected, you'll see a "Rejected" status on your My Submissions page. Common reasons for rejection include duplicate entries, insufficient information, or content that doesn't meet our guidelines. You're welcome to submit again with corrections.
Once submitted, a submission enters the review queue and cannot be modified. If you need to make changes, you can submit a new update after the original is processed.
Uploading Images
GAWBY accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP image formats.
The maximum file size is 10 MB per image. Images are uploaded in chunks, so large files work smoothly even on slower connections.
Yes. When uploading, select "Movies & TV Shows" as the upload type, then choose "Poster" as the image type during the tagging step.
You should only upload images you have the right to share. Official promotional materials, press kits, and your own photography are generally acceptable. Do not upload watermarked images, screenshots from other websites, or copyrighted photos without permission.
You can tag multiple people in a single image. During the tagging step, search for and select each person who appears in the photo.
Technical
Your data is saved each time you navigate to a new section or click "Save for later". If you close the browser without saving, unsaved changes in the current section may be lost. We recommend clicking the Next button or "Save for later" frequently to preserve your work.
If a person or company doesn't appear in the autosuggest results, simply type their full name. New entries will be created when your submission is processed. Make sure you're spelling the name correctly and try different name variations if needed.
Use the section dropdown at the top of the form to jump to any section directly. You can also use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons at the bottom of each section to move sequentially.
