Uploading Images
Help GAWBY's visual library grow by uploading photos for movies, TV shows, celebrities, and events.
Overview
GAWBY accepts three types of image uploads:
- Movies & TV Shows — Stills, behind-the-scenes photos, posters, and promotional images.
- Celebrity Photos — Photos of actors, directors, and other industry professionals.
- Events — Photos from premieres, film festivals, award ceremonies, and other industry events.
To upload images, go to Upload Images or click "Upload Images" from the user menu.
Step 1: Choose Upload Type
Select the type of images you're uploading by clicking one of the three cards:
- Movies & TV Shows — for images related to specific titles.
- Celebrity — for photos of specific people.
- Events — for event photography.

Step 2: Upload Your Images
Drag and drop your images into the upload area, or click to browse your files. You can upload multiple images at once.
- Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP
- Maximum file size: 10 MB per image
- Images are uploaded in chunks, so large files are handled smoothly even on slower connections.

Step 3: Add Details
After uploading, tag your images with the relevant titles, people, or events:
- For Movies & TV Shows — Search for and select the title(s) the images belong to. Choose the image type (e.g., still, poster, promotional).
- For Celebrity Photos — Search for and select the person or people in the photos. Choose the image type (e.g., profile, headshot).
- For Events — Enter the event name and select people who appear in the photos.
You can also add an optional memo or description for the reviewer.

Image Guidelines
Please review these guidelines before uploading. Images that don't meet these standards may be rejected.
Do
- Upload high-quality, clear images.
- Upload images you have the right to share (your own photos or official promotional materials).
- Tag images accurately — make sure the right titles and people are selected.
- Use the correct image type (poster, still, profile, etc.).
Don't
- Upload images with watermarks or logos from other websites.
- Upload screenshots from other databases or websites.
- Upload blurry, heavily cropped, or very low-resolution images.
- Upload duplicate images that are already on GAWBY.
- Upload content that violates copyright or contains inappropriate material.
After Upload
Uploaded images are reviewed by a GAWBY editor before they appear on the site. You can track the status of your uploads at My Submissions.
Once approved, your images will appear on the relevant title, person, or event pages.
